Solar Technician

Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Solar Technician within Joshi Electricals Trading Company, Pune. The Solar Technician intern will assist in the design, assessment, and basic maintenance of solar power systems, including reviewing layouts and documentation under guidance from senior staff. Day-to-day tasks may include supporting remote monitoring of solar installations, identifying performance issues, and contributing to troubleshooting procedures using digital tools. The intern will also help in data collection, reporting on system efficiency, and learning industry standards and safety practices related to solar power and power generation. Collaboration with faculty, project teams, and industry partners will be encouraged to develop practical skills and professional exposure in the solar sector.
Qualifications
Knowledge of solar systems and solar power concepts, with the ability to understand basic system components and configurations.
Awareness of the solar industry and power generation processes, including key technologies and current trends.
Basic troubleshooting skills for identifying and reporting technical issues in solar installations or monitoring data.
Pursuing or completed diploma/degree in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or related engineering field.
Ability to work independently in a remote setup, with strong time management and attention to detail.
Comfort with using digital tools for data analysis, documentation, and remote collaboration.
Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with academic mentors and project stakeholders.
Interest in sustainability and willingness to learn advanced solar technologies and safety standards.
