Role Description The सीनियर ऑपरेटर at Replica Packers is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City, responsible for overseeing day-to-day packing and handling activities on the shop floor. This position includes supervising packing operations, ensuring materials are used correctly, and checking that goods are packaged according to company standards and customer requirements. The senior operator coordinates work schedules, assigns tasks to operators, monitors productivity, and supports smooth workflow across shifts. Daily tasks may involve operating packing equipment, maintaining basic records of work completed, reporting any issues to supervisors, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality procedures. The role also involves supporting training of new team members and assisting in process improvements to reduce errors, waste, and delays.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of packing processes, materials handling, and basic logistics operations in a warehouse or production environment.
Experience operating common packing tools and equipment, with the ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
Proven ability to supervise or lead a small team, including task allocation, basic performance monitoring, and on-the-job guidance.
Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, supervisors, and support teams.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality, including accurate labeling, documentation, and product handling.
Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills for tracking quantities, materials usage, and daily output.
Willingness to work on-site in Pune City, with flexibility for shift work or extended hours when required.
Prior experience in packaging, manufacturing, or a related field; experience in a senior or lead operator role is an advantage.
Minimum educational background at the secondary or vocational level; additional technical or trade certifications are a plus.
