Salesforce Business Architect

We are looking for a Salesforce Business Architect to bridge business strategy and technical delivery across our Salesforce ecosystem. You will work with senior stakeholders to understand business goals, map end-to-end processes, and shape Salesforce-enabled solutions that deliver measurable value. You will be the voice of the business in design discussions and the voice of the platform in business conversations.

Key Responsibilities
Business discovery and strategy
Partner with sales, service, marketing, and operations leaders to understand goals, pain points, and opportunities
Lead workshops to document current-state ("as-is") and target-state ("to-be") processes
Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Build business cases, ROI models, and prioritized roadmaps for Salesforce initiatives
Solution design
Define the business architecture for Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and CPQ where applicable
Work with Solution and Technical Architects to ensure designs are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards
Recommend the right mix of declarative configuration, custom development, and third-party or AppExchange solutions
Identify integration points with ERP, data platforms, and other systems from a business-process perspective
Delivery and governance
Guide delivery teams (admins, developers, QA, product owners) through agile ceremonies, backlog grooming, and prioritization
Establish and maintain platform governance, including a change-control process, data ownership, and a center of excellence
Manage stakeholder expectations, risks, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle
Support UAT, training, change management, and user adoption planning
Continuous improvement
Track KPIs and adoption metrics, and recommend enhancements to improve ROI
Stay current on Salesforce releases and roadmap (Agentforce, Data Cloud, and AI capabilities) and assess their business fit
Mentor junior analysts and contribute to reusable frameworks, templates, and best practices
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in business analysis, business architecture, or consulting, with 4+ years on Salesforce projects
Deep understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, plus working knowledge of the wider platform
Proven ability to run discovery workshops and document processes using BPMN, user journeys, or similar methods
Strong experience with agile delivery, including writing user stories and managing backlogs
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including at senior leadership level
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through ambiguity
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce certifications, such as:
Salesforce Certified Business Analyst
Salesforce Certified Administrator
Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud or Service Cloud Consultant
Salesforce Certified Application or System Architect (a strong plus)
Experience with Data Cloud, CPQ, Experience Cloud, or Marketing Cloud
Familiarity with integration patterns, data modeling, and data governance
Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, Miro, or Visio
Background in a relevant industry (financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, or SaaS, for example)
