Role Description The Site Engineer role at Adithya Hruday Energy is a full-time, on-site position based in Thoothukudi. The Site Engineer will oversee daily construction and installation activities, ensuring work is executed in line with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards. Responsibilities include coordinating with civil engineers and other site personnel, monitoring progress, and addressing technical issues that arise on site. The role involves inspecting work for quality, verifying materials and workmanship, and maintaining accurate site documentation and reports. The Site Engineer will also support planning, resource allocation, and communication with project managers, clients, and contractors to keep the project running smoothly.
Qualifications
Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment, managing day-to-day activities and collaborating with field teams.
Strong communication skills for coordinating with project managers, civil engineers, contractors, and clients.
Experience in quality control, including inspection of materials, monitoring workmanship, and ensuring compliance with standards.
Knowledge of structural engineering principles and practical application in construction or energy-related projects.
Background as a civil engineer or relevant experience in civil or structural engineering projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline is preferred.
Familiarity with construction codes, safety regulations, and site management practices.
Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and using basic engineering and site management tools.
Ability to work extended hours on site when required and adapt to changing project needs.
