Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Bangalore Urban. The Sales Engineer will identify and develop new business opportunities for CNC and sheet metal forming solutions, conduct product demonstrations, and prepare technical-commercial proposals. The role involves working closely with customers to understand their manufacturing needs, recommend appropriate machine configurations, and support process optimization. Day-to-day tasks include managing the sales pipeline, coordinating with engineering and service teams, providing technical support during pre- and post-sales activities, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The Sales Engineer will also maintain accurate records in CRM tools, participate in trade shows or customer visits, and contribute feedback to product and service improvements.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills, with the ability to translate customer requirements into practical machine and process solutions.
Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to build relationships, present technical information clearly, and respond promptly to customer needs.
Candidates should possess solid Sales skills, including opportunity identification, negotiation, and closing, preferably in industrial machinery or manufacturing solutions.
Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
Experience in CNC machines, sheet metal forming, or industrial equipment sales will be an advantage.
Ability to work on-site at customer locations as needed, with willingness to travel within the region.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools, with good documentation and reporting abilities.
Demonstrated problem-solving mindset, high level of integrity, and readiness to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment.
