Title: Senior SAFe Scrum Master/GIS Systems - 100% remote
Job Type: long term contract (12-months to start)
We are looking for a Senior SAFe Scrum Master/GIS Systems to support one of our energy client's Graphic Information System (GIS) Initiative to implement new GIS systems.
Much of this work will evolve around building integrations, system configurations, supporting test cycles (SIT-UAT), data migrations, cut-over, dependency and release management.
All the work is managed in Azure DevOps Services, so that that is a MUST HAVE skill. Preferably 2 years' experience with it, but would consider one year if it was recent.
Experience working in a Scaled Agile/SAFe environment.
Technical background is preferred as is experience implementing GIS ESRI systems.
This role requires a servant leader who can operate comfortably in a complex, fast-paced environment while partnering effectively with technical teams, product leadership, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
We are looking for a well-rounded leader who can balance Agile leadership, technical understanding, stakeholder management, data-driven decision making, and project execution to help drive successful outcomes.
Key Qualifications
Proven Scrum Master experience supporting highly technical product and engineering teams
Strong leadership, facilitation, and communication skills across all levels of the organization
Prior Release Train Engineer (RTE) experience or demonstrated ability to operate at a program level
Experience supporting AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI, Machine Learning, Automation, or emerging technology initiatives
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to engage effectively with architects, engineers, platform teams, infrastructure teams, and product leadership
Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and help teams navigate changing priorities and evolving requirements
Demonstrated success managing complex dependencies, risks, impediments, and stakeholder expectations
Experience providing executive-level delivery updates, release readiness status, and key risk communications
Comfortable wearing multiple hats and stepping beyond traditional Scrum Master responsibilities when needed to support delivery success
Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills across business and technology organizations
