AJE Services Ltd is a growing, family-run company specialising in site investigations, drainage surveys and remedial works throughout the South of England.
As part of our continued expansion, we are looking to establish a dedicated clean-water division and are seeking an experienced Clean Water Engineer / Water Mains Team Leader to join our team.

The Role
We are looking for a knowledgeable and motivated engineer with experience in clean-water infrastructure, water mains and service pipe repairs.
The successful candidate will initially undertake hands-on engineering work while helping to develop our clean-water operations.
Responsibilities will include:
Water mains and service pipe repairs.
Leak detection, investigation and repair.
Installation and replacement of water supply pipes.
Water meter and stop tap installations and replacements.
Excavation and reinstatement associated with water infrastructure.
Working safely around existing underground utilities.
Ensuring compliance with water industry standards and health and safety requirements.
Completing site documentation and reporting.
Supporting and mentoring additional engineers as the division expands.
Essential Experience & Qualifications
Applicants should have previous experience working within the clean-water industry, ideally with a water utility company or established water infrastructure contractor.
We are particularly interested in candidates with:
Experience in water mains and service pipe repairs.
EUSR National Water Hygiene (Blue Card).
EUSR Water SHEA qualification.
NRSWA Street Works qualifications.
Experience working on live water networks.
Knowledge of water industry regulations and safe working procedures.
A full UK driving licence.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience supervising a small team would be advantageous.
Additional qualifications, including EUSR Water Network Construction Operations (WNCO), would be beneficial.
