Role Description The Intern role at Stratfield Partners is a full-time, on-site, paid, position based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The intern will support client projects by conducting policy and industry research, preparing briefing notes, and assisting in the development of presentations and reports. Day-to-day responsibilities include tracking regulatory and policy developments, compiling stakeholder insights, and helping draft communication materials such as summaries, memos, and updates. The intern will collaborate with advisory team members to organize data, maintain project documentation, and contribute to internal knowledge repositories. The role offers exposure to public affairs, government relations, and strategic communications in a fast-paced advisory environment.
Qualifications
Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize policy, regulatory, and industry information into clear insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including structured writing, presentation drafting, and professional email communication.
Proficiency in productivity tools (e.g., MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and comfort working with documents, presentations, and data tables.
Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work carefully with details in a deadline-driven environment.
Interest in public affairs, government relations, regulatory policy, or strategic communications; prior academic or project experience in these areas is an advantage.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in public policy, political science, economics, law, business, communications, or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a professional team setting and maintain a high standard of integrity and confidentiality.
