Hybrid Cloud Engineer, Azure | 100% Remote | Direct Hire
A global professional services firm is hiring a Hybrid Cloud Engineer to modernize infrastructure across Azure, on-premises systems and global data centers. You will focus on compute, storage and virtualization.
Must-haves:
Strong hands-on Azure engineering, including Azure Landing Zones, governance and enterprise architecture
Hybrid cloud experience (Azure + on-premises)
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM or Ansible)
Azure networking, including ExpressRoute and hybrid connectivity
Proven delivery of real Azure infrastructure or migration projects
5+ years of enterprise infrastructure experience and strong communication skills
Nice to have: AVS/VMware (vSphere, NSX, SRM), Azure Arc/Policy/Monitor, Entra ID and RBAC, Windows Server/AD, Linux, and Pure Storage, Nasuni or Veeam.
Note: Azure depth matters more than VMware. The team will teach you their on-prem environment but is looking for real, hands-on Azure experience.
