Epic Application Engineer Specialist – Inpatient / OpTime / HIM
Work Setup: 100% Remote – Candidate must reside in the United States

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Epic Application Engineer Specialist with strong hands-on expertise in Epic Inpatient, OpTime, and HIM. The role will focus on Epic implementation, application build, workflow optimization, integrations, and troubleshooting across hospital systems.
The engineer will work closely with physicians, RNs, and clinical leadership to understand clinical workflows, identify gaps, and implement effective Epic solutions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Epic Inpatient: 5+ years of hands-on experience with inpatient workflows, clinical operations, and Epic build.
Epic OpTime: 5+ years of experience with surgical/OR workflows and technical implementation.
Epic HIM: 5+ years of experience with HIM workflows, interfaces, troubleshooting, and integration.
Active Epic Certification is required.
Strong healthcare experience working directly with doctors, RNs, and clinical leadership.
Must be located within the United States.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, build, test, maintain, and optimize Epic applications and integrations.
Identify and resolve clinical workflow gaps and application issues.
Translate clinical and business requirements into Epic configurations and solutions.
Develop and adapt clinical protocols with healthcare stakeholders.
Manage and troubleshoot Epic interfaces and integration data flows.
Partner with physicians, nurses, and clinical leaders to support EHR workflows and implementations.
