Senior Finance Analyst

Role Description The Director at Hashtag Studio is a full-time, on-site role based in WP, Kuala Lumpur. This role is responsible for providing strategic leadership across studio operations, setting clear objectives, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards. The Director oversees cross-functional teams, manages budgets and resource planning, and maintains strong relationships with clients and partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding creative and production workflows, reviewing and approving key deliverables, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing process improvements. The Director also mentors team members, fosters an inclusive and collaborative culture, and represents the studio in high-level meetings and industry events.
Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams and driving accountability.
Strong project and operations management abilities, including budgeting, scheduling, resource planning, and risk management.
Proficiency in strategic planning and decision-making, with a track record of aligning initiatives to business goals and growth targets.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including negotiation, presentation, and conflict resolution.
Experience in creative, media, production, or related studio environments, with an understanding of modern digital and content workflows.
Ability to analyze data and performance metrics to inform improvements in processes, productivity, and client satisfaction.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Media, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage.
Comfort working on-site in WP, Kuala Lumpur, with adaptability in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
