Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Azure DevOps Engineer role based in Bengaluru South. The Azure DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable and secure build, release, and deployment processes across multiple environments. Responsibilities include maintaining scalable Azure infrastructure, automating provisioning and configuration, monitoring system performance, and resolving issues to ensure high availability. The role involves collaborating closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows, optimize release cycles, and enforce best practices in version control, branching, and environment management. The engineer will also contribute to documentation, continuous improvement initiatives, and adherence to security and compliance standards within the DevOps ecosystem.
Qualifications
Strong Azure platform skills, including Azure DevOps Services, Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, and experience with Azure infrastructure (VMs, App Services, Containers, Storage, Networking).
Proficiency in CI/CD practices and tools, such as automated build and release pipelines, artifact management, environment configuration, and deployment orchestration.
Hands-on experience with scripting and automation using tools like PowerShell, Bash, Python, or YAML, and Infrastructure as Code frameworks (e.g., ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform).
Solid understanding of source control and collaboration practices, including Git workflows, branching strategies, code reviews, and integration with issue-tracking tools.
Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and reliability tools and concepts (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights, log aggregation, alerting, performance tuning).
Background in security and compliance for cloud and DevOps environments, including access control, secrets management, vulnerability mitigation, and policy enforcement.
Relevant academic qualification such as a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
Industry certifications in Azure or DevOps (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Administrator, Azure Architect) are advantageous
