Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Software Engineer role based in the Pune District. The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain backend services and core application components, ensuring performance, scalability, and security. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing production-quality code, performing code reviews, improving system architecture, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product management, QA, and operations. The role involves troubleshooting complex technical issues, mentoring other engineers, and contributing to best practices, standards, and technical documentation. The Senior Software Engineer will also participate in planning, estimation, and continuous improvement of development processes.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development principles.
Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development and Programming.
Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and related design patterns.
Experience with modern backend frameworks, APIs, databases, and version control systems.
Ability to design scalable, maintainable architectures and troubleshoot complex issues.
Comfort working in collaborative, agile environments and communicating clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Previous experience in a senior or lead engineering role, including mentoring and code review responsibilities, is highly beneficial.
