Role Description The Car Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Indore. The technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of passenger vehicles, including work on engines, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and routine service tasks such as oil changes and inspections. Day-to-day responsibilities include using diagnostic tools, following service manuals, completing job cards, and ensuring repair work meets safety and quality standards. The role also involves communicating clearly with supervisors and service advisors about repair needs, timelines, and parts requirements, as well as maintaining a clean, organized workstation. The technician is expected to follow all workplace safety procedures and contribute to a collaborative and respectful workshop environment.
Qualifications
Strong technical skills in vehicle diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and routine maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools, hand tools, and workshop equipment.
Attention to detail in inspecting vehicles, identifying issues, and completing repair records accurately.
Effective communication skills to coordinate with service advisors, teammates, and customers when needed.
Capability to work safely, follow standard operating procedures, and comply with all workshop safety guidelines.
Minimum vocational or diploma-level qualification in automobile engineering or a related technical field; relevant certifications are an advantage.
Previous experience as a car technician, mechanic, or automotive service professional is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated learners.
Willingness to work on-site in Indore, adapt to new technologies, and participate in ongoing skill development.
