Role Description The Website Developer will be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving Gharwala’s web platform to support property listings and rental services. Day-to-day tasks include developing front-end interfaces, implementing back-end functionality, integrating third-party tools, and ensuring site performance and security. The role involves collaborating with product and business teams to translate requirements into intuitive, responsive, and accessible web experiences. The Website Developer will also troubleshoot issues, optimize code, and participate in regular updates and feature releases. This is a full-time, on-site role based in West Bengal, India.
Qualifications
Strong front-end development skills (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) with experience in responsive Web Design and modern frameworks.
Proficiency in Back-End Web Development (e.g., server-side languages, databases, APIs) and solid Programming fundamentals.
Hands-on Web Development experience, including end-to-end implementation, testing, and deployment of web applications.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate business needs into technical solutions, and communicate clearly.
Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), basic SEO principles, and performance optimization for high-traffic sites.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with e-commerce or listing platforms is an advantage; understanding of UI/UX best practices is highly beneficial.
