Role Description The Interior Designer will work on-site in Mumbai in a full-time capacity, collaborating with project teams to design functional and visually appealing interior spaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design concepts, producing detailed drawings, preparing mood boards and material palettes, and coordinating FF&E selections. The role involves working closely with clients to understand requirements, conducting site visits and measurements, and liaising with contractors and vendors to ensure design intent is executed accurately. The Interior Designer will also support project documentation, maintain project timelines, and assist in quality checks during construction and installation.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills to create functional, aesthetic layouts.
Candidates should possess Architecture knowledge and the ability to develop accurate Construction Drawings.
Candidates should possess proficiency in FF&E selection, including finishes, furniture, and equipment coordination.
Candidates should possess competency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams and vendors.
Attention to detail, time management skills, and experience handling multiple projects or deadlines.
Prior experience in residential, commercial, or retail interior projects in Mumbai or similar markets is an advantage.
