Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Beauty Therapist role based at Looks Salon, Balewadi High Street, Pune City. The Beauty Therapist will perform a variety of beauty and skin care services such as facials, basic and advanced skin treatments, and hair removal services in line with salon standards. Typical responsibilities include consulting with clients to understand their needs, recommending suitable treatments and home-care routines, and ensuring a clean and safe treatment environment. The role involves maintaining service records, following hygiene and safety protocols, managing appointment timings, and supporting the salon team during busy hours. The Beauty Therapist is expected to deliver professional, courteous service and contribute to a positive client experience.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in cosmetology, including knowledge of beauty therapies and salon procedures.
Proficiency in hair removal techniques, such as waxing and threading; experience with laser hair removal is an advantage.
Good understanding of skin care, including facials, basic skin analysis, and recommending appropriate products and treatments.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, listen actively, and build long-term client relationships.
Relevant certification or diploma in cosmetology or beauty therapy from a recognized institution.
Ability to follow hygiene and safety standards, manage time effectively, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to learn new techniques, adapt to salon protocols, and work flexible hours including weekends and peak periods.
