Position Summary
We are seeking an Automation Engineer to support cloud infrastructure, implementation, deployment, and operational environments. This position will focus on automating and improving cloud-based systems, configurations, deployments, and administrative processes to improve the reliability and efficiency of cloud environments.
The Automation Engineer will provide technical support and analysis, assist with cloud infrastructure improvements, and support the implementation, configuration, monitoring, and testing of cloud-based products and services.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support and analysis for cloud infrastructure project and production environments.
Support the development and implementation of automation for cloud infrastructure and administrative processes.
Analyze existing cloud processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
Develop recommendations for cloud infrastructure upgrades and improvements.
Support cloud-based implementation and deployment activities.
Automate and support software deployment, configuration management, and distribution processes.
Support the configuration and administration of cloud-based systems and services.
Monitor, plan, measure, and test new cloud-based products and services.
Support automation associated with cloud configurations, system administration, and operational activities.
Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and resolving cloud infrastructure and automation issues.
Support SaaS and PaaS environments and related cloud-based technologies.
Support storage, network, and server management activities within cloud environments.
Develop and maintain technical documentation related to automated processes, configurations, deployments, and cloud environments.
Work with technical teams to implement cloud infrastructure improvements and resolve technical problems.
Work under general supervision while providing solutions to technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Experience working with cloud infrastructure and cloud-based technologies.
Experience with automation, configuration management, software deployment, or related cloud administration activities.
Experience supporting cloud project and production environments.
Experience implementing, configuring, monitoring, testing, or troubleshooting cloud-based products and services.
Understanding of SaaS and PaaS environments.
Familiarity with server, network, and storage management concepts.
Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
