Role Description The Interior Designer will work on-site in Gurugram in a full-time capacity, contributing to residential interior projects from initial concept through final handover. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand requirements, developing design concepts and mood boards, and preparing layouts, drawings, and material selections. The role involves coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure accurate execution of designs, monitoring site progress, and addressing design or implementation issues as they arise. The Interior Designer will also manage FF&E selections, create detailed documentation, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in line with agreed quality standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Architecture skills, including concept development and understanding of design principles.
Candidates should possess Space Planning skills to create functional, efficient layouts that meet client needs and optimize available areas.
Candidates should possess Construction Drawings skills to produce clear, accurate technical drawings and documentation for on-site execution.
Candidates should possess FF&E skills to select furniture, fixtures, and equipment that align with the design concept, budget, and durability requirements.
Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and familiarity with material specifications and industry standards.
Strong visual, creative, and problem-solving abilities, along with effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients and project teams.
Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in residential interiors or similar projects is preferred.
