Role Description The Resort Manager at Decabayan is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the resort in kakadampoyil, ensuring a high standard of guest experience, property upkeep, and staff performance. This full-time, on-site role includes managing front-office and housekeeping activities, coordinating maintenance and property services, and monitoring budgets, costs, and revenue targets. The Resort Manager will supervise hiring and training of staff, set work schedules, and support team members in delivering consistent, guest-focused service. The role also involves handling guest feedback and escalated concerns, maintaining safety and compliance standards, and implementing operational improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Strong focus on customer satisfaction and customer service, with the ability to handle guest concerns and build positive relationships.
Experience in property management, including coordination of maintenance, housekeeping, and facility operations.
Previous experience in hospitality, resort, or hotel management is highly beneficial.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Strong communication skills in English; additional local language skills are an advantage.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as operational needs require.
Relevant diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
