Headquartered in San Francisco, Lion Studios’ creative and strategy teams utilize their expertise to help game developers break through the noise and grow their businesses.
Since launching in 2018, Lion Studios has driven 90% of its games to the Top 10 in the App Store and Google Play and helped drive 16 games to #1 in the US App Store’s Top Free chart.
The Impact You’ll Make
Onboard and manage gaming studios with diverse game portfolios, focusing on the gaming market in Turkey.
Identify promising games and studios in the market, and cultivate strong relationships.
Lead the full lifecycle of game development, from ideation to launch, ensuring the creation of innovative and engaging mobile games.
Conduct competitive analysis of the mobile gaming landscape, including user behavior and key metrics, to inform the product roadmap.
Align product development with Lion Studios’ strategic and competitive positioning.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, designers, and marketers to bring game concepts and features to life as an end-to-end product owner.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in product/project management, business development, or a related role within the mobile gaming industry (experience in managing gaming studios is a plus).
Proven experience in the ideation and development of new mobile games or apps, from concept through to production.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
Capable of working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on mobile games with a proven track record of driving successful planning, development, and launches.
Strong understanding of the latest trends in mobile gaming.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage with and understand both technical subjects and emerging technologies, and their relevance to the marketplace.
Ability to clearly communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Previous experience in a startup environment.
