Quality Assurance Engineer (Wroclaw)

We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team and work on the global project. This initiative focuses on developing comprehensive end to end tests for Desktop based applications, aimed at ensuring the robustness and reliability of internal workflows and system functionalities. As part of our Quality Assurance team, you will play a key role in delivering high quality solutions that support critical operations within the organization
Team members are expected to attend the office in line with the established team schedule. Preference will be given to candidates based in or near Wrocław.
The requirement is 2 days per week in the office, with a planned transition to 5 days per week
Job responsibilities:
Design and execute end-to-end tests for desktop-based applications.
Prepare test plans, test strategies, test scenarios and test cases.
Perform functional, integration, regression and API testing.
Develop and maintain automated tests, mainly using Ranorex and C#.
Identify, analyse and report defects in Azure DevOps.
Manage test cases, requirements and test documentation in Azure DevOps.
Use SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting.
Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts and the Product Owner within an Agile environment.
Support CI/CD processes and test activities within Azure DevOps.
Use AI-assisted testing tools, such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT and Azure DevOps MCPs.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and test automation.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Practical knowledge of software testing principles, including ISTQB.
Experience with test planning, test strategy and test case design.
Knowledge of different testing methodologies and defect management.
Knowledge of at least one programming language: Java, C#, Python, JavaScript or TypeScript.
Experience in desktop application testing and API testing.
Good knowledge of SQL and ability to write queries.
Practical experience with Azure DevOps (ADO).
Understanding of Agile/Scrum ways of working.
Full professional proficiency in English and Polish
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice to have:
Experience with Ranorex and C#.
Experience testing both desktop and web applications.
Basic knowledge of Azure Cloud services.
Basic knowledge of IBM i RPG.
Experience with AI-assisted testing.
