Arabic Linguists

We’re looking for Arabic linguists to join an urgent localization project involving 12 vertical drama series.
📌 PROJECT OVERVIEW
12 Arabic vertical drama series
Approximately 560 episodes
Around 725 total minutes of video
Episodes are 1–2 minutes long
Arabic dialects vary by series: Modern Standard Arabic, Egyptian, Levantine, and Gulf Arabic
OPEN POSITIONS
1. Arabic Transcribers – 2 positions
Create the Arabic dubbing script directly from the video
Include dialogue, timestamps, and speaker identification
Experience with dubbing scripts is preferred
Rate: USD $1.50/min of video
Approx. 360 minutes per person
Expected daily capacity:
35–40 minutes of video/day (approximately 2,300–2,600 Arabic words)
2. Arabic Reviewer – 1 position
Review and QA the transcription work
Check accuracy against the video
Experience with dubbing scripts is required/preferred
Rate: USD $0.50/min
Approx. 725 minutes total
Expected daily capacity:
Around 75 minutes of video/day (approximately 5,000 Arabic words)
3. Arabic → American English Translator – 1 position
Post-edit machine-translated English
Ensure the final English sounds natural, conversational, and suitable for AI voice cloning, rather than like a literal subtitle translation
Must have native or near-native American English
Strong Arabic comprehension required
Rate: USD $1.00/min
Approx. 725 minutes total
Expected daily capacity:
Around 55 minutes of video/day (approximately 3,600 Arabic words / 5,000 English words)
4. Arabic → American English Editor – 1 position
Review the English translation against the original Arabic
Check accuracy, naturalness, meaning, and consistency
Must have native or near-native American English
Rate: USD $0.50/min
Approx. 725 minutes total
Expected daily capacity:
Around 55 minutes of video/day

Egyptian Arabic
Levantine Arabic
Gulf Arabic
⏰ AVAILABILITY
Full-time availability for approximately 3 weeks
Immediate availability is strongly preferred
💰 PAYMENT
Payments are made via Payoneer or bank transfer
Our standard payment policy is 30 days
Freelancers will work under a freelancer/independent contractor agreement
