A highly trained team of Design Consultants meets with clients at their convenience to provide expert, in-home guidance that aligns with each client’s style and budget. Clients can schedule free, no-obligation, in-home appointments via phone or the company website.
Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Design Consultant at 3 Day Blinds. The Design Consultant will conduct in home consultations with clients, assess their needs, and recommend custom window covering solutions that suit their style, functional requirements, and budget. Daily activities include guiding clients through product options, measuring windows (based on provided specifications), preparing accurate quotes, and following up with clients to support the sales process. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to ensure orders are processed correctly and deliveries meet quality standards. The Design Consultant is expected to maintain detailed records in company systems, meet performance goals, and provide exceptional client support before and after the sale.
Qualifications
Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to build rapport and support clients throughout the consultation and purchasing process.
Proven Sales experience, including consultative selling, closing skills, and comfort working with performance targets.
Knowledge of Interior Design principles, with the ability to coordinate colors, styles, and materials for residential or commercial spaces.
Familiarity with Furniture and Furnishings to help clients integrate window treatments into existing room designs.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in virtual settings.
Comfort using digital tools, CRM systems, and remote collaboration platforms.
Strong attention to detail, including accurate interpretation of measurements and specifications.
Previous experience in home décor, retail design consulting, or related fields is beneficial.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in design or a related discipline is a plus.
