We are seeking a dedicated, relationship-driven, growth-minded, Civil Engineer (EIT) to join our growing team in Lake Oswego, OR.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with a talented group of professionals to design municipal projects for our clients. You’ll play a key part in shaping the communities we serve by delivering high-quality, thoughtful solutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare site layouts and designs in support of municipal infrastructure projects.
Perform engineering calculations and analysis to support design decisions.
Ensure project timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met in collaboration with project managers.
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and local agencies to ensure project requirements are met.
Review and interpret survey reports, maps, and as-built drawings.
Assist in the preparation of technical reports and cost estimates.
Stay current with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Take on increasing responsibility for project coordination, planning, and communication while maintaining engineering excellence.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required.
EIT Certification or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications used in civil engineering, including AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace.
Excellent computer, technical writing, communication, and customer service skills.
Eagerness to grow beyond core engineering responsibilities and develop expertise in project management.
Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
Valid Drivers license.
Preferred Qualifications:
2-4 years of engineering experience.
EIT certification with the ability and intent to obtain PE licensure.
Exposure to municipal and wastewater design standards and software.
Experience performing construction inspections to verify compliance with approved plans and specifications, and preparing detailed on-site observation reports.
