Data collection period: 30 November – 11 December 2026
Client-led training: 23–27 November 2026 (venues: Dakar, Abidjan, Cotonou, Accra; Cameroon team trains in Cotonou)
About the assignment
Researchlime is assembling field teams for a multi-country study on the local manufacturing and downstream supply of essential medicines in Africa. The work involves face-to-face and video interviews with pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers, logistics providers, regulators, medical stores, Ministries of Health, UNICEF and other stakeholders.

Requirements
Enumerators
Minimum 2 years of post-secondary education (BAC+2)
Proven experience in structured data collection and proficiency with Kobo Toolbox
Good knowledge of the local context; fluency in the relevant languages
Supply chain, logistics or pharmaceutical background is an advantage
Qualitative Interviewers
Minimum BAC+2, with a background in supply chain, logistics or pharmaceutical studies
Demonstrated experience in semi-structured interviewing, preferably in health, pharma or supply chain
Ability to interview senior officials in French/English and local languages
Ability to document and translate interviews accurately into English, keeping technical terminology
Field Supervisors
Previous experience supervising field teams on multi-site surveys
Strong Kobo Toolbox and data quality control skills
Ability to travel and to attend training in the country venue
Relevant health, pharma or supply chain experience is an advantage

Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with applicants, regional representatives, and internal stakeholders across diverse cultural contexts.
Ability to troubleshoot recruitment and deployment challenges, including resolving logistical and process-related issues in remote field settings.
Customer service orientation to respond promptly and professionally to client and candidate queries, ensuring a positive recruitment experience.
Experience in training and capacity building, including designing or delivering orientation and skills-development sessions for field teams.
Prior experience in field recruitment, research operations, or HR in West or Central Africa is highly beneficial.
Familiarity with mobile data collection tools, Android-based applications, or technology-enabled research processes is an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Relevant post-secondary education in human resources, social sciences, business, or a related field is preferred.
