Role Description The Vice President of Strategic Planning is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the development, execution, and refinement of the organization’s long-term strategy. This role oversees cross-functional strategic initiatives, partners with senior leadership to define priorities, and aligns business plans with organizational goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting and interpreting market research, performing in-depth business and financial analyses, and preparing strategic recommendations and presentations for executive stakeholders and the board. The role also manages strategic planning processes, sets performance metrics, monitors progress against objectives, and adjusts plans as needed based on market trends and organizational performance. The Vice President of Strategic Planning mentors team members, fosters collaboration among departments, and ensures that strategic initiatives are implemented on time and within scope.
Qualifications
Strong Strategic Planning and Business Planning skills to design, implement, and refine long-term organizational strategies.
Advanced Analytical Skills and Market Research experience to interpret data, identify trends, and evaluate opportunities and risks.
Solid Finance knowledge to build business cases, assess investments, and support data-driven resource allocation.
Proven leadership experience in senior or executive roles, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for articulating complex strategies to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment, managing time, priorities, and virtual collaboration tools.
Experience in strategic consulting, corporate strategy, or related fields; advanced degree in business, economics, or a related discipline is preferred.
