Senior AI Engineer

We’re hiring: Senior AI Engineer @ NuStudio
We’re building NuStudio.AI — the governed operating system for production AI agents. Our customers are Fortune-500 enterprises, and this role sits inside a client engineering pod running a global research platform that can’t afford downtime.
The work: make releases zero-downtime, make the platform survive a zone going dark, and bring GenAI into how the team builds and ships.
What You’ll Own
Full-stack features on the platform: Java / Spring Boot services, Vue.js front end, Python for tooling and automation
Blue/Green deployment enablement: backward-compatible DDL, namespace-aware state so services behave correctly in active/passive, and isolated test assets so Green can be validated end-to-end without touching production data
Design and proof of concept for zero-downtime DDL execution ahead of production cutovers
High Availability and Disaster Recovery: HA rollout and stabilization for critical services, multi-zone readiness, DR provisioning and sync, failover validation
Automated failover, observability and production runbooks
AI in the SDLC: rolling out AI-assisted code review, and using LLMs for test generation, release-readiness checks and runbook automation
Design reviews, code reviews, defect fixes, release readiness, and knowledge transfer to client engineers
What You Bring
6+ years as a full-stack engineer: Java, Spring Boot, Vue.js (React is fine if you can pick up Vue), and working Python
Strong data structures and algorithms fundamentals
AI-first daily workflow: you’re a proficient user of Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor or similar, and use them to design, code, test, debug and document every day. At NuStudio this is expected of everyone
Hands-on GenAI in real engineering work: LLM APIs, prompt and context design, judging when AI output is safe to ship
Working knowledge of Blue/Green or active/passive deployments, HA/DR and schema migrations
GCP, CI/CD, automated testing and observability
Comfort working from a jointly prioritized backlog inside a larger pod, under enterprise security and release standards
