Company Description
Nearly Human Government Solutions (NHGS) provides a governed platform that enables secure and compliant AI adoption across federal agencies. The company focuses on removing architecture, assurance, and oversight friction that can slow AI deployment, transforming fragmented experimentation into enterprise-ready solutions. Through its LaunchGrid platform, NHGS offers secure, managed AI access for diverse users and workflows. This approach helps agencies move from isolated sandbox use to controlled, mission-focused AI applications, supporting scalable and reliable innovation.

Day-to-day responsibilities include building and optimizing neural network and NLP models, implementing pattern recognition algorithms, and contributing to secure, production-quality software development. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate mission requirements into technical solutions, conducting experiments and evaluations, and documenting models, APIs, and workflows for maintainability and compliance. The AI Engineer will also participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and continuous improvement of the AI engineering toolkit and infrastructure.
