Job Title: Mainframe Identity & Access Management (IAM) Specialist - RACF / Top Secret
Location: Saskatchewan, Canada - Remote within Saskatchewan

Contract Length: 6 months, with potential 6-month extension
About the Opportunity ISM is looking for an experienced Mainframe Identity & Access Management (IAM) Specialist to support enterprise clients across complex technology environments.
This is a Saskatchewan-based opportunity, and we are particularly interested in connecting with experienced professionals currently located in Saskatchewan or with strong ties to the province.
This is not a general IAM or Active Directory role. The successful candidate must bring strong, hands-on experience administering security and user access within IBM z/OS mainframe environments, specifically using RACF and/or Broadcom Top Secret.
The role will focus on mainframe identity administration, user provisioning and deprovisioning, security profiles, access permissions, user lifecycle management, access reviews and security/compliance activities.
What You'll Be Doing
Provision, modify and deprovision user accounts within enterprise mainframe environments
Administer user groups, roles, permissions and security profiles
Manage mainframe access using RACF and/or Broadcom Top Secret within z/OS
Support the complete user-access lifecycle, including onboarding, access changes and offboarding
Perform and support periodic user-access reviews and recertification
Investigate and resolve user-access, authorization and permission issues
Support security, audit, governance and compliance requirements related to mainframe access
Maintain accurate documentation of access requests, approvals, changes and security configurations
Collaborate with security, technical and business teams to ensure appropriate access
Work within established IT service-management and ticketing processes
What We're Looking For Mainframe experience is essential for this position.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Hands-on experience administering RACF and/or Broadcom Top Secret
Strong experience working within an IBM z/OS mainframe environment
Mainframe Identity & Access Management (IAM) experience
User account provisioning, modification and deprovisioning experience
User/group/role and security-profile administration
Experience supporting the full identity and user-access lifecycle
Experience with Active Directory
Strong knowledge of computer security, access controls, authentication and authorization
Experience supporting access reviews, audits and compliance activities
Scripting knowledge and experience following structured scripting/automation practices
Experience with an ITSM/ticketing platform, with ServiceNow preferred
ITIL certification or experience working within an ITIL environment is considered an asset
