Routes Rooted is growing, and we are looking for dependable, compassionate, and professional Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Drivers to join our team.
Our drivers do much more than transport passengers. We serve seniors, individuals with disabilities, families, and members of our community who depend on us to get where they need to go safely and reliably.
Compensation & Benefits
Starting Pay: $18/hour
Full benefits available to eligible employees.
Retirement benefits offered after 6 months of employment.
Required Certifications & Training
Applicants must currently have or be willing and able to obtain and maintain all required credentials, including:
CPR / First Aid Certification
HIPAA Training
Fraud, Waste & Abuse (FWA) Training
Basic CTAA Certificate
Wheelchair Securement Certification or Q'Straint Certification
Defensive Driving Certificate
Additional background, driving record, drug screening, credentialing, and broker requirements may apply before an employee is cleared to transport clients.
Who We're Looking For
We want people who are dependable, patient, professional, and comfortable working with seniors and individuals with disabilities.
You must be able to follow procedures, communicate with dispatch and clients, maintain required credentials, use transportation technology/apps, properly document trips, and treat every passenger with dignity and respect.
Reliability matters. Our clients are depending on us to get them to medical appointments and other essential destinations.
