As a Senior Specialist, Business & Delivery Operations, you will help ensure that delivery teams execute projects efficiently, on time, within scope, and with a strong understanding of commercial and profitability objectives.
This is a hands-on operational role focused on connecting day-to-day delivery execution with resourcing, financial discipline, and process improvement. You will partner closely with Creative, Account, Governance, Finance, Project Management, and Resource Management teams to identify risks early, improve visibility, and support scalable execution across Mexico and LATAM.
You will not only track delivery performance, you will help teams act on it.
Core Responsibilities
Monitor project delivery performance across timelines, scope, actual hours, budget consumption, utilization, and key risks.
Support scope validation, effort estimation, and delivery planning to ensure projects are feasible, on budget, and aligned with commercial objectives.
Identify and escalate scope leakage, unplanned work, rework, budget overruns, staffing gaps, and delivery risks, providing clear recommendations for action.
Partner with Project Management, Account, Creative, Finance, Governance, and Resource Management teams to maintain accurate forecasts, capacity visibility, and operational reporting.
Support resource allocation decisions across local teams, regional hubs, and internal departments, balancing quality, availability, seniority, location, and cost.
Prepare and maintain dashboards, trackers, and reports for weekly operational reviews and monthly business discussions.
Ensure teams follow standardized delivery workflows, project governance, scope documentation, status reporting, risk tracking, and handover processes.
Use AI-enabled tools and automation as part of daily operations to streamline reporting, improve planning, reduce manual work, accelerate delivery workflows, and identify operational insights.
Identify recurring operational inefficiencies and recommend practical process improvements that improve speed, quality, predictability, and cost efficiency.
Build strong cross-functional relationships and constructively challenge unclear scopes, incomplete briefs, unrealistic timelines, and unplanned requests.
Qualifications and Skills
5+ years of experience in delivery operations, project management, production, resource management, or agency operations, preferably within a digital agency, media, technology, consulting, fintech, or other fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Strong understanding of pa roject delivery fundamentals, including scope, timelines, effort estimation, staffing, budgets, and delivery risks.
Exposure to financial concepts such as project budgets, actuals, burn rates, utilization, cost tracking, and margins.
Advanced Google Sheets skills, with comfort working with dashboards and operational data.
Experience with project management, CRM, and resourcing tools such as Salesforce, Jira, Monday.com, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
Interest in AI, automation, and process optimization within delivery environments.
Strong communication skills in Spanish and English.
Highly organized, analytical, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
