Engine Field Service Technician

Job Summary:
Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to engines at the customer’s site.
We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Fort McMurray
Will make an impact in the following ways:
Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
Maintain own tools
Syncrude Baseplant
7x7 rotational days and nights
5 years’ experience required in heavy equipment, mining industry
Heavy equipment Technician - Offroad / Red Seal Certification required
Valid driver’s license
Must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
This role requires a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations and must meet the conditions of the company policy
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
Completes complex internal engine repairs
Performs engine overhauls unassisted
Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components
Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software
