Job Summary
This technical position will focus on creating and delivering structural or civil deliverables for commercial clients and engineers for a variety of work scopes. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with clients and commercial site technicians and collaborating with Professional Engineers (PEs) to complete the analysis and review stages of structural and civil projects. The successful candidate will also be responsible for streamlining internal processes to increase quality and reduce costs and improving team documentation.
Qualifications And Skills
Has 3-5 years of experience working in Solar PV structural assessments
Proficiency with AutoCAD (or similar software)
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong English communication skills
Previous experience with Canadian Building Codes (OBC, NBCC) and/or American Building Codes (IBC, ASCE) is preferred
Experience with structural analysis software such as ETABS, RISA, and WoodWorks
