Software Engineering & AI Intern

Rialty.AI is a real estate technology startup building an AI-powered end-to-end transaction management platform for brokers and agents. Our platform helps real estate professionals manage deadlines, documents, communication, and transaction progress in one place. Rialty also includes RIA, our Real-estate Intelligent Assistant, designed to help users stay informed about what needs attention throughout a transaction.
About the Internship
We are looking for a Software Engineering & AI Intern interested in gaining hands-on experience working with a real SaaS platform and learning how software and AI products are developed within an early-stage startup. Students will contribute to structured technical projects while gaining exposure to engineering, product development, AI systems, cloud infrastructure, and the process of turning user feedback into technical improvements. We understand that academics come first and will work around class schedules, exams, and other university commitments.
What You’ll Work On
Projects will vary based on experience and interests and may include:
Front-end or back-end development
Working with components of a SaaS platform
Testing and evaluating new platform features
Working with APIs and integrations
Exploring applications of AI and large language models
Evaluating and improving RIA responses and workflows
Supporting development within a microservice architecture
Working with cloud-based systems on Google Cloud Platform
Identifying bugs and helping propose technical solutions
Building or testing prototypes for new features
Reviewing user feedback and helping translate it into technical requirements
Researching emerging AI tools and their potential applications in real estate technology

Who We’re Looking For
Current undergraduate or graduate student
Studying computer science, software engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, information systems, or a related field
Familiarity with programming fundamentals
Interest in AI, SaaS products, cloud technology, or startups
Curious, analytical, and comfortable learning new technologies
Able to work independently in a remote environment
Strong problem-solving skills
Prior startup or real estate experience is not required.
Internship Structure
This is a part-time, project-based educational internship designed for current students. Interns will receive regular mentorship and feedback while working toward defined learning objectives and project deliverables.
The position requires approximately 10–15 hours per week, but scheduling is flexible and will be arranged around the student’s academic commitments.
This is an unpaid internship. Rialty is happy to work with a student’s university to support academic credit or other approved experiential-learning requirements where available.
