Company Description Village Sarthi Program is a collaborative initiative between Shopivate India and the District Administration Moradabad, focused on strengthening local commerce and community development. The program supports village-level entrepreneurs, small businesses, and local markets through structured guidance, digital tools, and capacity-building activities. By combining public sector support with private sector innovation, Village Sarthi aims to improve livelihoods and create sustainable economic opportunities in the Moradabad region. Interns have the opportunity to contribute directly to on-ground impact, engage with diverse stakeholders, and gain exposure to social development and grassroots entrepreneurship.
Role Description The Project Intern role is a hybrid internship based in Moradabad, with a mix of on-site field activities and some work-from-home tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting in planning and coordinating village-level outreach events, conducting surveys and data collection, and supporting documentation of project activities. The intern will help prepare reports and presentations, maintain project records, and communicate with local stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, community members, and partner organizations. The role also involves basic research on local markets and government schemes, supporting digital and offline awareness campaigns, and collaborating with the project team on operational tasks. This internship is designed to offer practical experience in project implementation, community engagement, and development-focused work.

Additional beneficial attributes: interest in community development and entrepreneurship, ability to work in a hybrid setting (field and remote), familiarity with local languages and context in Moradabad, and a proactive, learning-oriented mindset.
