Role Description The Refrigeration Gasket Installation Technician is a full-time remote role focused on installing and servicing commercial refrigeration gaskets for a variety of customer locations. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing work orders, traveling to assigned sites, removing and replacing gaskets on refrigeration doors, and performing basic door adjustments to ensure proper seal and performance. The technician will diagnose common issues with refrigeration door function, document work completed, and communicate clearly with customers about findings and recommendations. This role also involves maintaining accurate inventory of parts, following safety protocols, coordinating schedules with the operations team, and representing Gaskets Rock International with professional, customer-centered service.
Qualifications
Strong technical and problem-solving abilities, including troubleshooting refrigeration door and gasket issues.
Effective communication skills to explain work performed and recommendations to customers and team members.
Commitment to customer satisfaction and high-quality customer service in diverse commercial environments.
Basic hands-on skills with tools and cabling or similar technical work, and comfort working on doors and equipment.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally or regionally as needed.
Ability to work independently in the field, manage time efficiently, and follow established procedures and safety standards.
Prior experience in refrigeration, HVAC, maintenance, or related trades is beneficial but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.
