Investment Operations Associate

Your responsibilities as an Investment Operations Associate include, but aren’t limited to:
Review and approve daily unit prices, monitor investor cashflows and trade/FX settlement.
Calculate fund performance for external communication.
Review and approve monthly investor statements and verify data for investor reporting.
Make recommendations to the Investment Committee on Term Deposit placements.
Compile monthly fund size, asset allocation and holding data for external communication.
Review and approve quarterly distribution calculations, and annual AMMA statements.
Assist with queries and requests from investors, internal teams, external investment managers, our custodian, and external auditor/tax agent.
Provide support to internal teams to gain exposure to other parts of the business and build industry knowledge.
About you
You have a relevant tertiary qualification and a good understanding of accounting fundamentals, including double entry accounting and investment taxation. Studying towards CA/CPA is a bonus.
You’re curious, analytical and enjoy solving problems. You pay attention to the details, understand the importance of managing risk and can stay organised when working to regular deadlines.
You’re proactive and enjoy being part of a team. You’re comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas and challenging the way things are done when you see an opportunity to improve.
You’re a confident communicator who can explain financial information clearly and enjoys working with people across the business.
