Licensed Veterinary Technician

Incline Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team and support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry.
We are seeking a versatile, client-focused technician who thrives in a dynamic general practice environment - balancing exam room care, client communication, and hands-on procedural support. We value credentialed technicians for the clinical knowledge, judgment, and communication skills they bring across all areas of the hospital, helping elevate the quality of medicine, client experience, and patient care.
In this position, you will play a key role in both outpatient and procedural workflows, contributing to a consistent, high standard of care throughout the patient visit.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
Performing dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography
Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation
Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately
Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service
This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy variety in their day, are confident moving between exam room and procedure support, and want to fully utilize their clinical knowledge, technical skill set, and client communication abilities in a collaborative general practice environment.
Schedule and compensation:
Compensation: $28 - $34 per hour, for each hour worked
This is a flexible full-time or part-time position with availibility required on Fridays.

Bonus package: $2000 based on active, good-standing veterinary technician credentials in the state of Nevada

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
3+ years of veterinary technician experience
Active and good-standing Licensed Veterinary Technician in the state of Nevada**
Proficiency in the following skills:
Client education and communication
Patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring
Venipuncture and intravenous catheter placement
Medication administration and accurate drug calculations
Anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery
Surgical assistance and aseptic technique
Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography
Radiology positioning and safety protocols
Laboratory sample collection and in-house diagnostic testing
Effective teamwork and professional communication skills
Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous learning
