Position: Cybersecurity Practitioner: Paid Expert Interviews (SOC, Incident Response, Detection, AppSec)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $125–$175/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
Participate in two to three one-hour video conversations with the Mercor team over four weeks.
Discuss the tools and processes used in enterprise cyber defense work.
Evaluate how AI assistance currently impacts your work and suggest improvements for AI benchmarks.
Review and provide feedback on our draft task taxonomy for accuracy and relevance.
Share insights on measuring the effectiveness of triage, investigation, and other security tasks.
Qualifications
Must-Have
Current or recent experience in enterprise security roles such as SOC analysts, incident responders, or security engineers.
Experience with EDR and SIEM stacks like CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender, Splunk, or similar.
Preferred
Security leaders with hands-on experience in cyber defense work.
Compensation & Legal
Paid hourly for interview time as a spot bonus.
