Role Description The Vice President of Investment is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the firm’s investment strategy and execution across equity and related asset classes. This role oversees portfolio construction, risk management, and performance monitoring while ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting and reviewing detailed investment research, guiding due diligence on new opportunities, and refining investment frameworks based on market developments. The Vice President collaborates with consultants and analysts to develop recommendations, prepares investment memos and reports for clients, and participates in client discussions to communicate strategy, rationale, and outcomes. This position also contributes to internal process improvement, enhances research methodologies, and mentors team members to raise the overall quality of investment decision-making.
Qualifications
Strong capabilities in Investment Management and Investments, with a track record of managing portfolios or mandates.
Advanced understanding of Finance, including valuation methods, financial modeling, and risk assessment.
Proficiency in conducting thorough Due Diligence on companies, sectors, and instruments.
Experience developing and implementing Investment Strategies across market cycles.
Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, with attention to detail and data-driven decision-making.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Leadership experience in guiding investment teams, mentoring professionals, and collaborating across functions.
Comfort working in a remote environment, with strong time management and self-direction.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are an advantage.
Knowledge of Indian capital markets and SEBI regulations is highly beneficial.
