Role Description The VP of Project Management is a full-time remote leadership role responsible for overseeing complex, multi-phase projects across the company’s medical and pharmaceutical solution offerings. This role includes directing project planning, defining scope, timelines, and resources, and ensuring that projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. The VP will lead and mentor project and program management teams, set standards for methodologies and best practices, and collaborate closely with engineering, operations, sales, and client stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring project performance, addressing risks and dependencies, aligning project portfolios with strategic business goals, and supporting continuous improvement in processes and communication. The VP will also contribute to executive-level reporting, support business development with project insights, and foster a culture of accountability and high-quality delivery in a remote work environment.
Qualifications
Strong Project Management skills, including project planning, execution, and delivery for complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
Program Management experience managing multiple related projects, aligning outcomes with organizational strategy and long-term goals.
Proficiency in Budgeting and financial oversight, including cost estimation, resource allocation, and variance analysis.
Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess risk, optimize processes, and support evidence-based decision-making.
Experience leading distributed or remote teams, with demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and build alignment across functions.
Background in medical, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related technical industries is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, operations management, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) are a plus.
Proven track record in senior leadership roles, with strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and change management capabilities.
