Role Description The Area Manager role at FinanCity is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Area Manager will oversee branch and field operations within the assigned territory, ensuring sales targets and service standards are met across insurance and loan products. Daily responsibilities include managing and mentoring a team, monitoring performance metrics, driving business development initiatives, and strengthening relationships with clients, partners, and local stakeholders. The role involves implementing corporate strategies at the area level, conducting market analysis, and identifying opportunities to grow market share. The Area Manager will also coordinate with head office teams, ensure compliance with regulatory and company guidelines, and maintain accurate reporting and documentation.

Strong leadership, team management, and people development skills to guide a diverse sales and operations workforce.
Business development, relationship management, and client service capabilities to grow the customer base and enhance retention.
Sales planning, territory management, and performance monitoring experience to achieve area-level targets across multiple financial products.
Knowledge of retail financial products such as insurance (life, health, motor, non-motor), loans (home, property-backed, personal, vehicle, business), credit cards, and mutual funds.
Analytical and problem-solving skills for market analysis, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for effective internal coordination and external stakeholder engagement.
Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, travel within the assigned area as needed, and operate in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Prior experience in financial services or banking, particularly in area or branch management roles, is highly desirable.
