Role Description The Recruiter will support talent acquisition efforts for behavioral health and healthcare roles, focusing on identifying, engaging, and qualifying candidates who align with Ascension Recovery Services’ mission and program needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include sourcing candidates through various channels, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating interview processes with hiring managers and leadership teams. The Recruiter will maintain accurate candidate records, track progress in applicant systems, and provide timely communication and updates to stakeholders. This is a contract role and is fully remote, requiring effective collaboration across distributed teams and the ability to prioritize multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment. The Recruiter will also contribute to improving recruitment processes, employer branding initiatives, and candidate experience.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably within healthcare, behavioral health, or related fields.
Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), professional networking platforms, and online sourcing tools to build diverse candidate pipelines.
Strong communication, interviewing, and relationship-building skills to effectively engage candidates and collaborate with hiring managers.
Solid organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in documentation, scheduling, and follow-up.
Understanding of behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, or healthcare environments is highly beneficial.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage confidential information responsibly, and adapt to changing hiring priorities.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
