Vice President of Product Operations

Role Description The Vice President of Product Operations is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing and optimizing product operations across the organization. This role leads cross-functional teams to ensure effective product planning, execution, and delivery, while establishing and refining processes, tools, and metrics that support scalable growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include aligning product operations with business strategy, managing product-related programs and initiatives, monitoring performance and resource allocation, and driving continuous improvement in workflows. The Vice President of Product Operations collaborates closely with product management, engineering, marketing, and customer-facing teams to enhance operational efficiency, support product launches, and improve the overall customer and stakeholder experience. This position also mentors and develops a high-performing team, fosters a culture of accountability, and provides regular reporting to executive leadership on product operational health and outcomes.
Qualifications
Strong Product Operations expertise, including designing and managing operational frameworks, processes, and roadmaps.
Demonstrated experience in Program Management, leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from planning through delivery.
Advanced Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret data, create dashboards, and use insights to inform decisions and drive improvements.
Proficiency in Project Management, including planning, prioritization, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Solid Product Management background, with experience collaborating on product strategy, lifecycle management, and go-to-market activities.
Proven leadership experience in senior or executive roles, managing and developing teams in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experience working in remote or distributed teams and using modern collaboration and productivity tools.
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or similar) is a plus.
Background in technology, SaaS, or product-led organizations preferred.
