Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Crawfordville, FL, responsible for overseeing and executing core HR functions that support VISIT FLORIDA’s mission and workforce. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing recruitment and hiring processes, onboarding new team members, and partnering with leaders to support workforce planning and organizational development. The role administers compensation and benefits programs, ensures compliance with employment laws and company policies, and maintains accurate HR records and systems. The Human Resources Manager facilitates performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution, while promoting a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture. This role also leads or supports HR-related training initiatives and contributes to continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and practices.
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in recruitment, talent acquisition, and workforce planning, including experience designing and executing fair, inclusive hiring processes.
Experience with employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management, with the ability to coach leaders and team members in a supportive, objective manner.
Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and HR policy development, including experience maintaining accurate and confidential HR documentation and records.
Proficiency in HRIS and related HR technologies, along with skills in data analysis and reporting to inform decision-making and measure HR program effectiveness.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, collaborate across departments, and support a diverse, inclusive workforce.
Organizational and project management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving organizational needs.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
