Role Description The Senior System Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems and infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include managing system configurations, performing routine and advanced system administration, monitoring system performance, and proactively resolving technical issues. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related problems, providing technical support to internal teams, and ensuring high availability and reliability of services. The Senior System Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to refine system designs, improve operational processes, and contribute to architectural decisions and documentation.
Qualifications
Strong Systems Engineering and Systems Design skills, with experience in architecting and deploying scalable, secure infrastructures.
Hands-on System Administration expertise, including configuration management, performance tuning, and maintenance of servers and related services.
Proficiency in Troubleshooting complex issues across operating systems, networks, and applications, using diagnostic tools and structured problem-solving.
Experience providing Technical Support to internal or external stakeholders, including incident management, root cause analysis, and clear communication of solutions.
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, security best practices, and high-availability concepts.
Experience with automation tools, scripting languages, and monitoring platforms is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple priorities, and document systems and procedures clearly.
