About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

About Carepod
Carepod is a premium humidifier brand designed in Korea, focused on creating thoughtfully designed products that make everyday living healthier and more comfortable. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for proactive people who want to contribute to a fast-moving team and help us build an exceptional customer experience.
About the Role
We’re hiring a hands-on Shopify Website Operations Specialist to support the day-to-day execution, quality, and customer experience of our Shopify store.
You’ll work closely with our Shopify Website Manager / Developer to keep the storefront accurate, functional, organized, and ready for product launches and promotions.
This role is more technical than a traditional ecommerce assistant. You should be very comfortable inside Shopify, understand how themes and storefronts work, have strong QA instincts, and be able to troubleshoot common website issues independently.
You don’t need to be a senior developer, but you should know enough Liquid, HTML, and CSS to make basic changes safely and recognize when something needs deeper technical support.
What You’ll Do
Shopify Store Operations
- Manage products, collections, navigation, pages, landing pages, and onsite content
- Set up launches, promotions, discounts, pre-orders, waitlists, and merchandising updates
- Maintain accurate pricing, variants, tags, metafields, images, inventory visibility, and product availability
- Keep homepage, PDPs, collection pages, and navigation accurate and up to date
Website QA & Technical Support
- Perform regular QA across desktop and mobile
- Test pages, navigation, links, promotions, discounts, cart, and checkout flows
- Identify and troubleshoot broken links, display issues, pricing errors, inventory mismatches, and other storefront problems
- Make basic Shopify theme, Liquid, HTML, and CSS updates
- Test changes made by internal or external developers and clearly document issues that need escalation
Launches & Customer Experience
- Build and QA website components for product launches and campaigns
- Coordinate with Marketing and Creative to ensure assets, copy, links, products, and landing pages are ready on time
- Confirm promotional pricing, discount logic, availability, and messaging before launch
- Review the website from a customer perspective and flag confusing or broken experiences
- Partner with CX to identify recurring website issues affecting customers
Analytics & Process
- Monitor basic website performance using Shopify Analytics, GA4, and other available tools
- Flag unusual traffic, conversion, product availability, or customer behavior patterns
- Maintain QA checklists, SOPs, and website documentation
- Help improve processes so website changes are completed accurately and consistently
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of hands-on Shopify or ecommerce website operations experience
- Strong experience managing products, collections, navigation, pages, promotions, and content in Shopify
- Good understanding of Shopify themes, sections, templates, and metafields
- Basic working knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML, and CSS
- JavaScript knowledge is a plus
- Strong website QA and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working across homepage, PDPs, PLPs, cart, and checkout
- Comfortable with Shopify apps and third-party integrations
- Familiarity with GA4 and Shopify Analytics
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and written communication
- Comfortable working independently and within a distributed, fast-moving team
You’ll Be a Great Fit If
You know Shopify well enough that you don’t need anyone showing you where things are. You notice the small website mistake everyone else missed, investigate problems before assuming they’re a “developer issue,” and understand enough code to know what you can safely change — and what you shouldn’t.
You’re equally comfortable updating products, QA’ing a promotion, testing the mobile cart, organizing a collection, or documenting a bug for a developer.
Most importantly, you think about the website like a customer does and take ownership of getting the details right.
If you know Shopify inside and out, care about getting the details right, and enjoy taking ownership of a great online customer experience, we’d love to hear from you. Apply and help us build what’s next at Carepod!
