Application Security Specialists, API Developers & Backend Engineers. Remote AI Project
We are seeking experienced Backend Engineers, Software Engineers, API Developers, Distributed Systems Engineers, Platform Engineers, and Security-Focused Developers to create realistic coding tasks used to train and evaluate advanced AI systems.
What You’ll Do
Create realistic software engineering tasks based on production-style backend systems
Design feature implementation challenges
Create bug-fixing and debugging tasks
Develop tasks involving APIs, services, databases, networking, and distributed systems
Write deterministic verifiers and automated graders
Ensure multiple reasonable correct implementations can pass
Ensure incomplete, hardcoded, or incorrect solutions fail
Design hidden tests and edge cases
Create reference or golden solutions
Review AI-generated code for correctness, maintainability, security, and performance
Identify system bottlenecks and performance issues
Design refactoring tasks involving existing codebases
Build security-focused coding scenarios when relevant
Review task quality and identify unintended shortcuts
Document expected behavior and technical requirements clearly

Requirements
Strong professional experience in backend or server-side software engineering
Proficiency in at least one of Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Python, C++, or a comparable backend language

Experience implementing non-trivial backend features
Experience working with automated testing
