Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role based in Delhi, NY. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with individual and corporate customers, understanding their insurance needs, and recommending suitable products and solutions. Daily activities include conducting client meetings, handling inquiries, providing policy information and support, coordinating with internal teams for proposals and claims, and ensuring timely renewals. The role involves monitoring customer satisfaction, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and maintaining accurate records of interactions and account status. The Relationship Manager will also support business development initiatives, participate in local marketing activities, and uphold the company’s customer-first standards in every interaction.
Qualifications
Customer relationship and account management skills, including the ability to build trust, retain clients, and address concerns effectively.
Sales and business development capabilities, with experience in identifying opportunities, presenting solutions, and meeting performance targets.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for clear explanations of insurance products, negotiations, and collaboration with internal teams.
Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple accounts, follow up on renewals, and maintain accurate documentation.
Basic understanding of insurance concepts, preferably in general insurance (motor, health, property), with willingness to learn product specifics.
Comfort with using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and standard office software to track activities, prepare reports, and analyze customer data.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field; relevant experience in financial services or insurance is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Delhi, NY, collaborate within a team environment, and adapt to a fast-paced, customer-focused setting.
